Beijing Olympic Games attracted an increasing number of Chinese mobile phone users to access the Internet through mobile phones in 2008. At the same time, the number of mobile phone users in China reached a record 600million. The number of the country's mobile phone subscribers ranked the 1st in the world. The reorganization of Telecommunications and the 3G licence is on the way, that good news stimulates China mobile Internet industry, makes the Chinese market more promising than ever.

According to the analysis of iReaserch, the users of the Chinese mobile Internet will reach a record 230,000,000 this year which will be more than the PC users for the 1st time. China may unveil the 3G licensing policy by the end of this year, more and more traditional Internet tycoons, telecom operators, and mobile phone manufacturers will join this competitive market.

At the same time, we also see the mobile Internet industry is still in an initial stage, the technology should be more advanced, industrial chain needs to be improved and the business model should to be more sophisticated. And now we have to face the negative impact of the global financial crisis on economic development. Therefore, the future of mobile Internet industry will be both opportunities and challenges!

Even in developed European countries, 3G service already has been launched; voice service still occupies 85% of the market share.
